Programs

Each day will include instruction in three areas of concentration:
Electronic Songwriting and Special Effects: Add music, sound effects and your own voice to your favorite scene from a movie, YouTube or TV episode!! Participants will learn how to rip the sound from video scenes and replace the original sounds with their very own creative ideas.
Mock Trial: Experience the thrill of courtroom drama! We will explore the life of a trial lawyer as we study the law, learn the legal lingo, and prepare for a final mock trial at the end of the week. When we're done, you will know how to approach a case, question witnesses, and perform persuasive closing arguments. You will sharpen your public speaking and critical thinking skills as you advocate for your client in a fictional trial. By the end of the week, a practicing attorney will visit the class for a presentation and Q&A.
Camp YouTube: Learn how to transform fun video skills into important digital-age productivity. This course taps into student interests in online communication and media by honing their acting, storytelling, digital skills and creating videos on their favorite topics -- such as product reviews, video game tips, toy "unboxing", commercial making or movie and tv commentary in a safe and non-public forum utilizing google classroom.
Bring your lunch! Time will include breaks and fun games.
