Programs

This course is designed for students about to take Advanced Placement Calculus AB or Advanced Placement Calculus BC. Motivated students planning to take Academic Calculus are also welcome. Pre-Calculus covered prerequisites for Calculus, but this course will focus on actual concepts unique to Calculus as well as real life applications. Students will be given guided notes and practice problems specifically designed for this one week course. The course material will also serve as an excellent reference throughout the school year. Two different sections of Concepts of AP Calculus (Week of July 28 OR Aug 11) are offered due to the high demand from each of the previous fourteen summers. The course is designed and instructed by the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School Teacher of the Year for 2016-2017 with 24 years of experience teaching AP Calculus. This course is intended for students to gain confidence and get an excellent head start.
