Programs
This course is designed for students about to take Honors PreCalculus. Motivated students planning to take Academic (non-honors) PreCalculus are also welcome. The course will cover two major areas of concentration. One part of the course will cover PreCalculus material that is extended from Algebra II. The other part of the course will focus on understanding trigonometric functions. Students will be given guided notes and practice problems specifically designed for this one week course. The course material will also serve as an excellent reference throughout the school year. Two different sections of Head Start to Honors PreCalculus (Week of July 7 OR Aug 4) are offered due to the high demand from each of the previous thirteen summers. The course is designed and instructed by the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School Teacher of the Year for 2016-2017. This course is intended for students to gain confidence and get an excellent head start.
