Have you decided to move from Freshmen Academic English to Sophomore Honors English? Do you want to work on the skills you need to be successful?
Are you a rising sophomore who wants to practice your writing skills? Reading skills? Critical thinking skills? This is the place for you!
Join us for a week-long, half-day class that will prepare you for success at the honors level. We will work on reading, writing, literary analysis, and pertinent vocabulary. You will work independently, in small groups, and as a full class to improve your analytical, scholarly, and critical thinking skills. Using American short stories, we will explore the foundations of Sophomore Honors English.
